About the project
Bold, different, and daring was the feedback from our designers and that is exactly what we found stepping into this Shaker Kitchen. An old stone property in the midst of the small hamlet of Pury End in Northamptonshire. This was the home of a very lovely couple who’s passion is renovating properties, but with a growing family, this was to be their family home for the foreseeable future. Doing up your home can sometimes be quite daunting and to get to the end and be able to say you have chosen well, stayed true to your style, and are happy with the outcome deserves a big pat on the back.
The kitchen was formed in a room that used to be dining space and having that elevated aspect really gave that sense of grandeur and what a joy to sit and admire the labours of your hard work over dinner. The kitchen colour choice’s were set in stone from the outset and with the central island overlooking the family’s dining room what a touch of theatre is really is, with flashes of modern appliances dotted around the room sure made for an eclectic mix. The elegant mix of lighting is really beautiful , glass pendants positioned over the island was a statement in themselves. Wow , what a truly wonderful project and certainly one we were pleased to have been a part of.
