About the project
Nestled in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, this period property dating back to the 1800’s and just oozed character and sophistication, having been renovated and styled to create an idyllic family home.
This grand old house is tucked away down a long winding driveway and behind a majestic Oak front door, off to the left lay Willow Kitchens and Interiors beautiful Shaker kitchen. A rectangular-shaped room with high ceilings, ancient flagstones and elegant Box Sash shuttered windows with outstanding views as far as the eye could see .
The kitchen design was dominated by the large box sash window looking out onto a well stocked cottage and herb garden with the Belfast double sink and kitchen island seating both having the same aspect. The kitchen was painted in Farrow & Ball ‘New White’ using Oak worktops and brass handles as the final complement. A wood-burning Esse was the range of choice, adding warmth that’s needed in old rambling country houses. Wow, what a fabulous kitchen, its simplicity is just so beautifully suited to this historic building that it sat in.
