About the project
We knew it was was going to be special from the outset . In the village of Murcott, Buckinghamshire, behind a wooden gated entrance lay this fabulous stone property surrounded by countryside with steps leading up to the front door.
The kitchen was just off to the left and we were instantly charmed by this beautifully, organised kitchen. Such a simple layout, a double Belfast sink sitting central to the large window overlooking the kitchen garden and the black Induction Aga with the mantle above. Opposite saw a selection of base cabinets with wooden shelving above making for that light and airy feel. The main kitchen cabinets were painted in a soft grey with Aged Brass handles and veined grey and bronzed marbled quartz worked just perfectly. The Handle-less Island was a real statement. A complete block of honeyed brown and grey two tone effect looked quite amazing, with oceans of storage it was just perfect and seating for chatting with a glass of wine whilst the host’s prepare supper, what could be better .
Last, but not least just behind the island and centre of the cabinetry we created the perfect spot for the family dog, who was a fab, inquisitive little guy who fitted in just perfectly.
What a homely kitchen we created . Delightful !
